Milan Pulp Week 2026: AIAC Brings Pulp Industry Professionals Together in Milan
On 11 June 2026, the Westin Palace in Milan hosted the annual seminar organised by AIAC – the Italian Pulp Agents Association, as part of Milan Pulp Week. The event brought together professionals from across the pulp supply chain for an afternoon of discussion on the pulp market, global economic developments and geopolitical factors affecting international trade.
Four Talks Exploring the Global Market
Registration began at 14:00, followed by the seminar at 14:30. The programme featured four speakers addressing key issues for the pulp and paper industry, from market outlooks to global economics and geopolitical risks.
The Speakers and Their Presentations
Fraser Hart – TTOBMA – Pulp Market Outlook
An overview of the pulp market outlook, examining the trends and developments shaping the sector.
Andrea Boltho – Global Economics – Uncertainties and more uncertainties…
A presentation exploring the uncertainties facing the global economy and the challenges involved in interpreting international economic trends.
Greta Cristini – Geopolitical Risk in the Middle East: Reshaping Global Trade and Supply Chains

Professional Exchange and Networking
Together, the four presentations offered different perspectives on a market increasingly influenced by international economic and political developments. Understanding changes in pulp markets, trade flows and global power dynamics is essential for businesses operating throughout the supply chain.
Milan Pulp Week also provides a valuable opportunity to meet market pulp producers, customers, traders, logistics specialists and other industry professionals. Direct exchange encourages the sharing of information, the development of new contacts and stronger professional relationships across the value chain.
The afternoon concluded at 18:30 with a welcome cocktail and standing buffet dinner at the Westin Restaurant. This informal gathering allowed participants to continue their discussions and strengthen connections made during the seminar.
